RAM / Services / Water line extensions, turnkey

Water line extensions, turnkey

Engineering sealed by CFIA, national road permits, construction, certified materials and interconnection — delivered until AyA formally receives the work.

The problem

When AyA conditions your water availability on building a line extension, you face a maze: hydraulic design, sealed drawings, national road-cut permits, easements, construction to standard and the final inspection. If one piece fails, the work is not received and the water never arrives.

How we do it

  • Route study and pre-design with costs
  • Final design and complete permitting
  • Construction and inspections
  • Reception by AyA — water secured

Proven experience

Over 10 kilometers of potable water lines designed and built: Big Door Prize (2,242 m, ₡85.8M), ASOPROQUEPOS (1,827 m), Palmas Pacífica (1,888 m), GranSol (1,347 m), El Salto (1,615 m in progress), Tejona-Tilarán (2,400 m) and more.

Applicable Costa Rican regulations

  • Normas técnicas de diseño y construcción de AyA
  • Reglamento de Construcciones del INVU
  • Permisos de rotura de vía: normativa MOPT/CONAVI
  • Formulario GTE-102-02-F1 (inspección de obras de infraestructura AyA)

Frequently asked questions

Do you handle the road-cut permits?

Yes. We have processed and executed national road cuts before MOPT and CONAVI in Quepos, Esparza and Guanacaste, under RAM's technical responsibility.

How do I know AyA will accept the work?

Our track record: works received without observations, documented with reception records. We design from day one with the reception requirements in mind.
