The longest extension in RAM's record — 2,400 meters of 150 mm HDPE bringing potable water to an area historically without coverage.

Property owners in Tejona and Santa Rosa de Tilarán had no potable water coverage: without a network, no availability letters or building permits were possible.
Technical studies proved feasibility and a water capacity letter was obtained from ASADA Parcelas Quebrada Azul, endorsed by the ORAC — conditioned on building the new infrastructure.
HDPE for 2.4 kilometers of demanding terrain
The design chose 150 mm high-density polyethylene (HDPE) — a 2,400-meter line, RAM's longest recorded project, with a CFIA valuation of ₡87.0 million (code 1188299).
Complete hydraulic design, plans, and APC-CFIA processing, in coordination with the ASADA as system operator.
Technical direction end to end
RAM held the technical direction of the works: construction supervision, compliance control against approved plans, and coordination of tests and inspections.
All under the community operator's scheme: an ASADA receiving works of this scale demands the same documentary rigor as AyA.
Formal water where there was none
The project enables service through formal infrastructure approved by the ASADA and the ORAC, with final reception in process.
For an area that historically lived without coverage, the difference isn't a case file: it's properties that can develop with formal potable water for the first time.
